Why We Exist

The NAAAA Orlando Chapter exists to monitor, recognize, mentor, and uplift African American youth. We help students and families prepare for college, leadership, and lifelong achievement through guidance, encouragement, and access to meaningful opportunities.

How We Serve

We use athletics, education, technology, and esports as catalysts for leadership. Our programs include college readiness, scholarship and financial-aid awareness, career exploration, mentoring, family engagement, leadership development, and experiences that prepare students for success beyond sports.

Our Commitment

We recognize and reward academic, athletic, and community excellence while building partnerships that expand opportunity. Every program, event, and sponsorship is designed to strengthen confidence, support families, and create lasting impact throughout Orlando and Central Florida.

A Clearer Roadmap for College and What Comes Next.

NAAAA Orlando is partnering with BrightMap Education to give selected student-athletes practical tools for college planning, scholarships, testing strategy, academic readiness, and career exploration.

BrightMap Education is supporting the Orlando Chapter with complimentary Roadmap access for selected active student-athletes in grades 8 through 11.

BrightMap Roadmap Access

25 Students. One Full Year. No Cost to Their Families.

BrightMap Education has donated 25 individual annual Roadmap memberships to NAAAA Orlando. Each selected student receives private access to create a personalized profile, understand where they stand, and take the next steps in their college and career journey.

One private access code is assigned to each student selected by the Orlando Chapter. Codes are distributed directly and are not published on the public website.

College Readiness Score

Personalized readiness tracking from grades 8 through 11 so students know where they stand and what to strengthen next.

Grade-by-Grade Action Plan

A customized roadmap based on each student's profile, goals, grade level, and timeline.

Scholarship Finder

Helps students identify scholarship opportunities that align with their eligibility and goals.

Major Pathway Explorer

Supports early exploration of majors and academic pathways aligned with student strengths and interests.

SAT / ACT Strategy

Personalized testing direction to help students understand target scores and prepare with greater purpose.

Passion Project Guidance

Helps students build meaningful extracurricular stories that can strengthen future college applications.

How Selected Students Activate Their Roadmap

  1. Create or log into a free BrightMap Roadmap account.
  2. Open the Account page.
  3. On the Account page, locate “Have an access code?” and enter your individual BrightMap access code.
  4. Select “Redeem Code” to unlock your complimentary one-year Roadmap membership.
